With all the yelling, honking, and endless construction, keep some ear plugs by your bed. Otherwise you may have some sleepless nights.
Hummus
Locals eat bowls of their beloved hummus any chance they can. Get used to eating it several times a week for lunch and passionately arguing about which place serves up the best bowl.

In the wintertime, Tel Aviv can experience some intense storms. Don’t get caught in the rain unprepared.
