Welcome to Citizen Cafe TLV Hebrew school, where we use the communicative language teaching approach to teach Hebrew in a fun and engaging way!

How do I sign up for a Hebrew course?
By booking a free intro session! You’ll meet with one of our teachers, get a taste of our method, and find out your level. One of our enrollment managers will then give you all of our pricing info (no guilt, no aggressive sales pitches) and you’ll be able to either enroll in a semester or leave having learned a few more phrases in Hebrew 🙂
What if I miss a week or two of Zoom classes?
No worries at all, we’ve got you covered! Every single one of our classes is recorded and available for all students in the class. So if you happen to miss a session, you can easily catch up by watching the recorded sessions whenever it suits you best. Alsom we highly recommend joining one of our practice groups tailored to your level. In these groups, you’ll have the opportunity to interact with both a teacher and fellow students from other classes. It’s a fantastic way to get some extra practice, support, and make new connections along the way.
What is the students’ age range?
Our classes are open to students aged 18 and above.
Do you only focus on speaking? How do you teach grammar?
Not at all! Grammar is an essential part of our curriculum. We focus on developing conversational skills while incorporating grammar through interactive exercises. You’ll get ample practice with verb tenses and grammar structures in engaging conversations. It’s a well-rounded approach that keeps things fun and practical!
What are the levels of Hebrew study?
We offer a wide range of 11 levels, each named after a color! Those levels are split into three tiers: Foundation, Flow, and Freedom (kind of like beginners, intermediate, and advanced). After a quick intro session, our teachers will match you with the perfect level for your current Hebrew skills.
